"What is Group Finder?"

Q: What is Group Finder?

A: Small Group Ministries is excited to introduce Group Finder to you. Group Finder is a brand-new, internet-based tool designed to help hundreds of unconnected people get into a Small Group.

Group Finder can be accessed from anywhere and by anyone who has an internet connection. It will soon be made available on the front page of Central's website at www.centralchristian.com. When people click on
Group Finder, they will be able to view a menu of Small Groups based on life stage (i.e. Men's, Women's, Couples, etc.), geographic area, and day of the week. If a person selects a Small Group(s) to investigate, an
email will be sent to both the Small Group Staff and the Small Group Leader. From that point on, the staff and leader will work together to help you make a connection with the Small Group. No personal information or address location will be on Group Finder.

For those who don't own a computer or do not feel comfortable using one, Group Finder will also be made available at the Small Group Ministries booth in the main lobby before and after every service. Our staff will be there to assist anyone wanting to use it.

In order for Group Finder to work, Small Group Leaders must keep the Small Group Staff informed of their group status. Small Group Leaders can add or remove their group from Group Finder at anytime by contacting the staff at 735-4004 ext. 287.

Group Finder is just one of the many ways people can get into a Small Group at Central. We hope you find it easy to use and beneficial to your group. But the best way for others to get connected is still a personal
invitation by a Small Group member (i.e. "filling the open chair").
