Central Couple's Ministry is asking YOU what are you going to do with
your summer? The challenge is to make this the best summer ever and
spend some time investing in your marriage, your Couple's Small Group
and your leadership skills. Central is providing several
opportunities and ideas for you and your spouse to not just let
the summer months fly by but allow you the exciting opportunities to
make your marriage, Small Group relationships and your leadership
skills even better. Here are some ways to get involved:
JOIN
A COUPLE’S GROUP: Grow in your marriage, and in your
relationship with
God and others. Central offers more than 200 Couple’s Small Groups
located
throughout the GET AWAY
TOGETHER: Escape for
a spectacular weekend to refresh your
marriage and get pampered while you’re at it. This “Weekend to
Remember” won’t
even cost you a tank of gas because it happens right here in ENJOY A COOKOUT:
Take
the challenge as we launch our first “Great Vegas Valley Cookout”.
During the week of July 4, we’re asking every small group to join with
another
nearby small group for a cookout. So grab some great food and fun as
you meet
other couples doing life together. Talk to your small group leader and
see what
you can do to get the ball rolling and the grill fired up. Not
currently in a
small group? This is a perfect time to find out who’s meeting in your
neighborhood
and see what you’ve been missing. Just give us a call. GET
HELP: Trials
and tribulations can rock the foundation of any
marriage. But you don’t have to give up. Discover hope along with
practical
ways to rebuild and restore your relationship from the ground up. Join
us for
“Marriage Restoration Weekend” on Friday, June 6, from 5:00-9:00 pm and
Saturday, June 7, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. This intensive workshop is
for
couples experiencing difficulty in marriage and is taught by Mark
Whelchel,
pastor and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. GO
TO A LEADERSHIP GATHERING: Relax,
refuel, and re-engergize as you enjoy
refreshments, interact with other leaders and get fed by prominent
